Inside the musical journey of a small-town composer and a strong-willed singer/librettist who dared to spend a lifetime chasing their dreams together.
About
As Story Producer for The Fabulous Ohs: The Marriage and the Music, I was honored to help shape a story that is as heartfelt as it is inspiring. This documentary follows the journey of a composer and a singer/librettist—partners in life and art—who spent a lifetime creating together. It’s a love story, a story of a woman finding her voice, and a testament to the power of pursuing dreams against all odds. I was especially thrilled to collaborate once again with Kathryn Parks, having worked with her on multiple creative projects. This film is deeply personal to her, as it honors her parents’ legacy, and I relate to the desire to keep our parents’ dreams alive. Being a part of bringing this story to life—one so full of passion, perseverance, and authenticity—is exactly the kind of storytelling I’m drawn to.

“The Fabulous Ohs tells a very different story from mainstream music documentaries. It’s not about ego, sex and drugs. It’s about love, following your dreams, and the real costs and rewards of sustaining a life in the arts when you’re not famous.”
